Dr. Charles Banta

Dr. Charles Banta is a native of Baytown Texas. Dr. Banta received his Veterinary degree from Texas A&M in 1957 and served in the army after graduation. In the early sixties, Dr. Banta brought his family to New Orleans and continued practicing veterinary medicine. Over the years Dr. Banta purchased the veterinary hospital that is now the Carrollton Veterinary Hospital. While taking care of the pets in New Orleans for over 50 years, Dr. Banta has also been active in our local community serving as president of the Southeastern Veterinary Association and as deacon of the First Baptist Church. Our community has benefitted greatly from his continued dedication to animal care.
